First, a Name to Untangle

There are two unrelated American companies trading under very similar names, and search results mix them up constantly. This review is about Betterbrand at trybetterbrand.com, a respiratory supplement company. It is not "BetterBrand" the low-carb bagel company behind The Better Bagel, which trades at a different domain and had a widely reported 2024 collapse involving unfulfilled orders, disputes with a fulfilment partner and employee theft allegations. Smoking cessation is a drug claim: nicotine replacement therapy and prescription medicines such as varenicline and bupropion are regulated for exactly this purpose, and they are regulated because cessation is hard and the evidence bar matters. We are not alleging a violation. The only contact route we could find is an email address. For a company selling recurring subscriptions to an older demographic worried about their breathing, with a guarantee that requires contacting the company to redeem, a placeholder phone number is not a cosmetic oversight.
