Found Semaglutide Review

Found is one of the larger and longer-established names in telehealth weight loss, founded in 2019 and headquartered in San Francisco. What distinguishes it from most of the category is that it is built around insurance rather than cash-pay compounding, and it offers an unusually wide medication formulary. Our research (August 7, 2026) found a substantive program with a real clinical model and a recurring, well-documented friction point around cancellation.

An Unusually Broad Formulary

Found is one of the few telehealth providers offering both brand-name and compounded GLP-1s alongside older weight-management drugs:

• Brand-name GLP-1s: Wegovy from $650/month, Zepbound from $650/month, Ozempic around $1,100/month, Mounjaro around $1,100/month, plus Saxenda, Victoza and Rybelsus
• Compounded: semaglutide and tirzepatide from $99/month, with flat pricing as your dose increases
• Non-GLP-1 options from $49/month: metformin, Contrave, topiramate, zonisamide
• Foundayo (orforglipron) and Trulicity also listed

The flat-as-dose-increases structure on compounded medication is worth noting. Many competitors price by dose, so your cost rises as you titrate up—which is exactly when budgets break. Found's compounded pricing does not do that.

The Insurance Angle

Found states that it partners with many medical insurance carriers across the US—Blue Cross, UnitedHealthcare, Aetna, Cigna and Anthem among them—and that most members pay less than $30 per visit for clinical care through insurance. Coverage varies by state and plan; at our check, California showed no insurance plans available. It also operates a Medicare GLP-1 Bridge Program under which eligible Part D members can access GLP-1s at $50/month. Medicare patients are poorly served across this entire category, so a specific Part D pathway is a genuine differentiator. Discounts include up to $100 off membership on prepaid annual plans and $50 off cash purchases of brand-name GLP-1s.

The Cancellation Problem

This is the recurring complaint and it is well documented. Found's BBB rating is B-, with roughly three to four complaints per month. Per BBB summaries, the vast majority of complaints relate to the cancellation policy coming as a surprise to members trying to cancel. Others describe sending multiple refund requests without response, and some describe signing up expecting to pay around $129/month and then not receiving a prescription for a medication covered at that price. On Trustpilot the picture is more balanced: roughly 3.9 stars across 709 reviews, and notably the company replies to 96% of negative reviews, typically within two weeks. That is a materially better engagement record than most brands we review, and it should count in Found's favour. The pattern that emerges is not a company that fails clinically—provider and coach experiences are frequently praised—but one whose commercial terms surprise people on the way out.
