PepScribe Tirzepatide Review

PepScribe publishes more of its commercial terms up front than almost any operator we have assessed in this category. Our research (September 1, 2026) found a telehealth peptide practice that names its regulatory pathway, prices every dose tier on the public page, and states the FDA compounding disclaimer in plain language rather than burying it.

Important: These Are Compounded Medications

PepScribe dispenses compounded semaglutide and tirzepatide, not the branded products, and it says so directly on the treatment pages:

"Compounded drug products are not approved or evaluated for safety, effectiveness, or quality by the FDA. Rx required."

That is the correct disclaimer, stated where a patient will actually read it. Compounded drugs are not FDA-approved, are not reviewed for safety, effectiveness or manufacturing quality before reaching you, and a compounded preparation containing the same active ingredient as an approved drug is not a generic equivalent and has not been shown to be therapeutically equivalent. The practice is unusually specific about the pathway:

"Compounded in the USA by a licensed 503A pharmacy, not 503B, not international. No hidden overseas supply chain."

503A is the traditional compounding pathway — a pharmacy preparing a medication for an individual patient under a specific prescription, regulated by state boards under USP standards. PepScribe states its partner pharmacies compound under USP <797>/<800> sterile-compounding standards, and that the pharmacy assigned depends on your state, the medication and clinical appropriateness. The same caveat applies here as everywhere in this category. With the tirzepatide shortage resolved in October 2024 and semaglutide in early 2025, 503A pharmacies can no longer rely on a shortage to justify compounding these drugs. Lawful patient-specific compounding now turns on a documented clinical reason for the individual patient — a dose not commercially available, an excipient sensitivity, or a specific titration need. That is a fair question to put to the prescribing clinician directly.

Every Dose Tier Is Priced in Public

This is the strongest thing about PepScribe. Semaglutide is published at $99, $139 and $179 per month across its dose tiers; tirzepatide at $209, $289 and $383 per month. You can read those numbers before entering an intake, which is not true of most competitors.

"$0 unless a clinician prescribes. No membership fees. Ever. A US-licensed clinician reviews your free online visit, and if nothing is prescribed you pay nothing."

The flat monthly price is stated to include medication, clinician oversight, supplies and shipping, with no separate membership or platform fee. A 3-month prepay is offered at up to 20% off.

Cancellation Terms Are Stated, Including the Part That Is Not Favourable

"No contracts, no cancellation fees, no retention calls. When you cancel, there are no future charges. The current billing period is not prorated, and you keep any doses already shipped or scheduled for that period."

Disclosing the non-prorated period is a mark of good faith. Most operators leave that to be discovered on the statement.

Clinical Process

Intake is roughly three minutes; a US-licensed clinician reviews within 24 hours and remains prescriber of record through protocol adjustments. Semaglutide is described as titrating upward over the first 16 weeks based on response, tirzepatide in 4-week steps. Most orders ship within 72 hours of approval. Telehealth services are provided by Ola Digital Health, an independent network of US-licensed clinicians. Notably, PepScribe states that "peptide plans do not require lab work" — labs are ordered only if needed, with an optional baseline panel at $129 through LabCorp. For a GLP-1 that is a defensible position, but it does mean baseline metabolic screening is not automatic.

Third-Party Verification

PepScribe is a LegitScript-certified healthcare merchant and a BBB Accredited Business rated A, and it links out to both so the claims can be checked. Independently verifiable credentials are rare enough in this category to count for something.

What Is Not Published, and One Structural Caution

No BMI or clinical eligibility thresholds — eligibility is "screened during your assessment," but the standard applied is not stated. No founding year, no headquarters, no named clinicians, no published monitoring schedule beyond async messaging, and no insurance billing (plans are cash-pay; HSA/FSA accepted). The structural caution is breadth. PepScribe sells a wide compounded-peptide menu alongside its GLP-1s — sermorelin, NAD+ and similar longevity products whose evidence base is materially weaker than semaglutide's and tirzepatide's. That is a different proposition from a focused GLP-1 practice, and the marketing frames all of it as one category. Judge the GLP-1 offering on its own terms.
