"Compounded in FDA-registered, 503B and 503A facilities" · "State-Board or FDA-Registered Pharmacies"That is the correct mapping: 503B outsourcing facilities register with the FDA and are subject to FDA inspection, while 503A pharmacies are licensed by state boards of pharmacy. Several competitors we have reviewed conflate these or claim an "FDA-approved facility" that does not exist. Precision Telemed goes further and labels the pathway on the individual product listing — a semaglutide product carries "Facility 503A State Board Pharmacy" — so the patient can see which regime governs the specific vial they are buying.
"Every compound we prescribe is tested by an independent, accredited lab. Our Pharmacy Partner is NABP Accredited, which means every CofA is analyzed regularly to ensure purity and safety."NABP — the National Association of Boards of Pharmacy — runs a real accreditation programme, and a certificate of analysis is the document that answers the purity and potency question compounded preparations otherwise leave open. Products carry a "Lab Verified · NABP Accredited Pharmacy" marker. Naming the accrediting body rather than making a generic "quality tested" claim is what makes this checkable.
"Every consultation is conducted by a licensed, board-certified physician, nurse practitioner, or physician assistant, never an AI."That commitment is becoming meaningful as automated intake spreads through this category. Precision Telemed also publishes a "Meet Our Board-Certified Providers" section and operates across all 50 states.
Our research (September 2, 2026) found Precision Telemed among the more technically precise operators in this comparison, distinguished by three practices. First, it states the compounding pathways accurately, describing products as "Compounded in FDA-registered, 503B and 503A facilities" and its partners as "State-Board or FDA-Registered Pharmacies" — the correct mapping, since 503B outsourcing facilities register with and are inspected by the FDA while 503A pharmacies are licensed by state boards. It goes further than any competitor we have reviewed by labelling the pathway on the individual product listing, with a compounded semaglutide product carrying the marker "Facility 503A State Board Pharmacy," so a patient can identify the regime governing the specific preparation being purchased. Several operators elsewhere in this comparison either blur these categories or assert a nonexistent "FDA-approved facility." Second, it publishes independent quality verification with a named accrediting body: "Every compound we prescribe is tested by an independent, accredited lab. Our Pharmacy Partner is NABP Accredited, which means every CofA is analyzed regularly to ensure purity and safety," with products marked "Lab Verified · NABP Accredited Pharmacy." Certificates of analysis address the purity and potency uncertainty inherent in compounded preparations, and naming the National Association of Boards of Pharmacy makes the claim checkable rather than generic. Third, it commits that "every consultation is conducted by a licensed, board-certified physician, nurse practitioner, or physician assistant, never an AI" — a meaningful undertaking as automated intake review spreads through the category — and publishes a providers section. It operates across all 50 states, with observed pricing including a $50 entry point and monthly figures of $139.99 and $179.99, and lists products by specific presentation such as compounded semaglutide 1mg/2mL, which lets a patient calculate how long a vial lasts at their dose. The principal caution is breadth: the catalogue spans weight loss, TRT, sermorelin and NAD+, and the latter two are compounded longevity products with a substantially weaker evidence base than semaglutide, presented in the same format. Accreditation and certificates of analysis address purity and potency but do not confer FDA approval, and the standard compounding caveats apply. Not published: the name of the pharmacy partner, BMI or clinical eligibility criteria, laboratory requirements before prescribing, titration protocols, monitoring cadence, a dose-tier price schedule, founding year, or refund and cancellation terms.
Complete an intake and consult a board-certified clinician — never an AI
Consultations are with a physician, nurse practitioner or physician assistant
Check the product listing for its facility pathway (503A state board, or 503B FDA-registered)
Compounds are tested by an independent accredited lab with certificates of analysis
Medication is dispensed by an NABP-accredited pharmacy partner
Products are listed by concentration and vial size, e.g. semaglutide 1mg/2mL
Medication ships to your door; the service covers all 50 states
Ask for the certificate of analysis for your batch, since testing is advertised
People who want to know which regulatory pathway made their specific vial and want independent purity and potency testing behind it, judged separately from the longevity products in the same catalogue
We assessed Precision Telemed against its published material as of September 2, 2026.
What we verified directly: compounding described as taking place in "FDA-registered, 503B and 503A facilities" with partners as "State-Board or FDA-Registered Pharmacies"; per-product facility labelling such as "Facility 503A State Board Pharmacy"; NABP accreditation claimed for the pharmacy partner; independent accredited-lab testing with certificates of analysis analysed regularly; a commitment that consultations are never conducted by an AI; board-certified clinicians and a published providers section; all-50-state coverage; and products listed by presentation such as semaglutide 1mg/2mL.
Getting 503A and 503B right is rarer than it should be. Across this comparison we have found operators claiming "FDA-approved facilities" that do not exist and others saying nothing at all. Precision Telemed states the distinction correctly and then applies it product by product, which is the most useful form the disclosure can take.
NABP accreditation is a checkable third-party claim. Combined with regular certificate-of-analysis review, it addresses purity and potency — the two things a patient genuinely cannot assess about a compounded vial.
"Never an AI" is a commitment worth noting. Automated intake review is spreading, and an explicit undertaking that a licensed human conducts the consultation is a distinguishing promise.
The reservation is the catalogue. Sermorelin and NAD+ sit beside the GLP-1s in the same format. Their evidence bases are not comparable, and the presentation encourages treating them as equivalent categories of medicine.
What we could not establish: the pharmacy partner's identity, dose-tier pricing, BMI criteria, lab requirements, titration protocols, monitoring cadence, refund terms, founding year, or independent third-party review aggregates.
"Is Precision Telemed legit?" Our assessment as of September 2, 2026.
Official Verification: Precision Telemed states that consultations are conducted by licensed, board-certified physicians, nurse practitioners or physician assistants, publishes a providers section, works with an NABP-accredited pharmacy partner, and describes compounding in FDA-registered 503B and state-board-licensed 503A facilities. We found no evidence of wrongdoing.
Technical accuracy is the strongest signal available here. An operator that correctly separates FDA-registered 503B facilities from state-board 503A pharmacies, and then tags each product with which applies, is demonstrating knowledge that marketing copy does not require. Compare Ascend Vitality, which claims an "FDA-approved facility" while stating a 503A pathway that is not FDA-registered at all.
Naming NABP makes the quality claim falsifiable. "Quality tested" means nothing; "our pharmacy partner is NABP accredited" can be checked, and certificates of analysis can be requested.
Where to press. Ask which pharmacy holds the NABP accreditation, since it is not named, and ask for the certificate of analysis covering your batch — the testing is advertised, so the document should be available. Ask too what your dose will cost at maintenance, since no tier schedule is published.
Treat the longevity products separately. Sermorelin and NAD+ are not supported by evidence comparable to semaglutide's, whatever the shared quality-assurance framework around them.
Red Flags Check:
The Bottom Line: Technically the most careful operator we have reviewed on pharmacy pathway and product testing — it tells you which regime made your vial and has an accredited lab verify what is in it. Request the certificate of analysis you are being promised, ask which pharmacy holds the accreditation, and judge the GLP-1 offering independently of the longevity peptides beside it. As always, consult your personal physician before starting any new medication program.
