"A daily oral dose lets you escalate at a measured pace, protect lean tissue, and use the appetite regulation window to build habits that hold after treatment ends. Weight loss will be slower in months one and two — and far more likely to stick."This is an efficacy claim presented as a feature. We found no evidence offered for "far more likely to stick," and no trial exists comparing compounded sublingual tirzepatide to injectable tirzepatide on maintenance of weight loss. The lean-tissue claim is similarly unsupported for this formulation. It is a well-constructed argument. It is also unfalsifiable as written: slower results become evidence the product is working as designed.
Our research (August 8, 2026) found The Wellness Company selling compounded tirzepatide in two formats with no evidence base: 8 mm sublingual tablets (6 mg berry in month 1, 10 mg mint from month 2) and a tirzepatide chewing gum. Unlike semaglutide, tirzepatide has no FDA-approved oral product of any kind, so there is not even an approved counterpart to compare against — every published tirzepatide result, including SURMOUNT-1's approximately 20.9% mean reduction over 72 weeks, comes from weekly subcutaneous injection. TWC markets the oral route as superior, stating weight loss "will be slower in months one and two — and far more likely to stick," and claiming it helps "protect lean tissue"; no trial supports either claim for this formulation. To its credit, TWC discloses more than most: compounding by a licensed U.S. 503A pharmacy identified on the prescription label, LegitScript certification, a 50-state telemedicine network, an explicit note that some states require a live video visit, BMI 25+ eligibility, free shipping, cancel-anytime billing, and a plain statement that no insurance or Medicare is accepted. The products sit in a catalogue alongside ivermectin, mebendazole and "Ultimate Spike Detox" supplements — a general wellness storefront that added a GLP-1 rather than a metabolic health practice.
Order the product first, then complete a brief medical history form after checkout
A licensed provider reviews your information to determine eligibility
Some states require a live video visit before a prescription is issued; TWC states it will tell you if yours does
If approved, a licensed U.S. 503A pharmacy assigned by state dispenses and ships free
Delivery takes approximately 1-2 weeks after the medical history form and consultation are complete
Month 1 is one 6 mg berry sublingual tablet daily; month 2 onward is one 10 mg mint tablet daily
Tablets are 8 mm and dissolve under the tongue — not chewed or swallowed
On subscriptions, a provider checks in every 6 months
Patients who cannot tolerate injections and want the regulatory disclosure TWC provides — but who should understand they are buying a format with no published evidence behind it
We assessed The Wellness Company primarily against its own published product pages as of August 8, 2026.
What we verified directly: tirzepatide sold as 8 mm sublingual tablets (6 mg berry-flavoured purple in month 1, 10 mg mint-flavoured white from month 2) and as a separate tirzepatide gum; compounding "by a licensed U.S. 503A pharmacy" with the dispensing pharmacy "assigned based on your state and identified on your prescription label"; LegitScript certification; a 50-state telemedicine network; BMI 25+ and age 18+ eligibility; free U.S. shipping; 1-2 week delivery; cancel-anytime subscription; 6-month provider check-ins; and no acceptance of insurance or Medicare.
The claims we would want substantiated: that oral dosing makes weight loss "far more likely to stick," and that it helps "protect lean tissue." Both are stated as product benefits. Neither has a trial behind it for a compounded sublingual tirzepatide. The site does link to studies on lean mass during injectable GLP-1 treatment and to "studies for oral GLP-1," but evidence about oral semaglutide or about injectable tirzepatide does not establish anything about compounded sublingual tirzepatide.
Context worth knowing: the tirzepatide products are listed among best sellers that include ivermectin, ivermectin plus mebendazole, and "Ultimate Spike Detox," within collections named "Parasite Cleanse" and "Spike Protein Detox."
What we could not establish: pricing, the identity of the compounding pharmacies used, founding year, headquarters, or refund terms beyond cancel-anytime.
"Is The Wellness Company legitimate?" Our assessment as of August 8, 2026.
The regulatory disclosure is better than most. We spend a lot of these reviews asking companies to name a pathway and a pharmacy. TWC names the pathway (503A), tells you the dispensing pharmacy appears on your label, holds LegitScript certification, requires a prescription, and states when your state mandates a live video visit. Measured on disclosure alone, it outperforms several operators we have rated higher.
The product is the problem. Sublingual tirzepatide tablets and tirzepatide gum have no published evidence. For tirzepatide specifically there is no approved oral product anywhere — not a compounded version of something approved, but a route of administration the molecule has never been approved in. Everything known about tirzepatide's benefits comes from a weekly injection.
The marketing turns that weakness into a selling point. "Weight loss will be slower in months one and two — and far more likely to stick" reframes a product that may deliver less drug as a product that delivers better outcomes. That framing cannot be tested by the patient and is not supported by evidence.
Red Flags Check:
The Bottom Line: A company doing the paperwork properly around a product the evidence does not support. If injections are genuinely impossible for you, TWC at least tells you who compounds your medication and under what pathway — but understand that you are buying a delivery format nobody has studied, at a price the site does not publish, from a storefront whose neighbouring products should inform how you read its health claims. The injectable remains the only form of tirzepatide with evidence behind it. As always, consult your personal physician before starting any new medication program.
