Raeliva Tirzepatide Review

Raeliva discloses more than any operator we have assessed in this category. Our research (September 1, 2026) found a compounded GLP-1 platform that names its corporate owner, its medical group, every pharmacy in its fulfilment network with each one's regulatory status, and — most unusually — tells patients that the clinical trial results it cites do not apply to the products it sells.

Important: These Are Compounded Medications, and Raeliva Says So Repeatedly

"Every GLP-1 medication in a Raeliva program is compounded, and we label it that way, so you always know exactly what you are getting."

"Prescription treatments are only available if clinically appropriate after an online consultation with a licensed provider. Compounded medications are not FDA-approved and are not the same as brand-name products. Results vary, and side effects may occur."

The standard practice in this category is to cite the STEP and SURMOUNT trial results next to a compounded product and let the reader assume they transfer. Raeliva does the opposite:

"Typical in trials of the FDA-approved semaglutide medication: ~15% of body weight over 68 weeks, alongside lifestyle changes. That is a different product, and compounded semaglutide was not studied in those trials."

We have not seen another operator in this comparison state that distinction against its own marketing interest. It is the single most honest sentence we have found on a GLP-1 telehealth site.

The Pharmacy Network Is Named, With Regulatory Status

Most providers will not name their pharmacy at all. Raeliva names six, each with its pathway and contact details:

"Prescription fulfillment is handled by independently licensed pharmacies in our network: Belmar Pharmacy, Strive Pharmacy, Epiq Scripts, Casa Pharma Rx, The Pharmacy Hub, and Foothills Pharmacy."

It publishes Belmar Pharmacy as 503A and 503B, and Strive Pharmacy and Epiq Scripts as 503A, all state-licensed, alongside their phone numbers and websites. We have independently reviewed Belmar Pharmacy, Strive Pharmacy, Epiq Scripts and Casa Pharma Rx. Compounding is stated to follow USP-797 sterile standards. The same post-shortage caveat applies here as everywhere: with the tirzepatide shortage resolved in October 2024 and semaglutide in early 2025, lawful 503A compounding now turns on a documented clinical reason for the individual patient rather than a shortage. Worth raising with the prescriber.

Corporate Structure Is Disclosed

"Raeliva is operated by Pacific Shores Research Group, LLC (San Diego, CA). The platform handles intake, scheduling, and patient communication. It is not a pharmacy and does not prescribe or dispense medication on its own. Medical services are provided by Lion MDs, an independent medical practice with clinicians licensed in all 50 U.S. states."

Founded in 2026. The platform/medical-group/pharmacy separation is how these businesses are actually structured; Raeliva is one of the few that explains it rather than presenting itself as a single clinic.

Pricing Does Not Rise With Your Dose

Compounded semaglutide injection starts at $150/month on the 6-month plan, tirzepatide injection at $242/month, and the sublingual tablet versions at $167 and $267 respectively. The important term is dose-independence:

"Your monthly price is tied to your plan, not your dose. When your provider raises your dose — 0.25 mg to 0.5 mg, or up to a maintenance dose months in — the amount you pay does not change."

That removes the most common cost trap in this category, where a low headline price attaches to a starting dose and the real cost only appears at a therapeutic one. Raeliva also discloses the part that is less favourable, which is how the multi-month plans are billed:

"Upfront, as a single charge. The monthly figure we show for a multi-month plan is the effective rate — what the total works out to per month, not a monthly payment. For example, the semaglutide injection 6-month plan is $900 billed once, which is $150 a month."

That is a real commitment of $900 up front, and patients should treat the advertised "$150/month" accordingly. A month-to-month option exists at a higher rate.

Nothing to Pay If You Are Not a Candidate

"A licensed provider reviews your intake — and if treatment isn't right for you, there's nothing to pay."

Cancellation before the pharmacy prepares the order carries a full refund, and Raeliva states patients may ask for stored payment details to be deleted. Providers are licensed in all 50 states and ship to all 50 states; injections ship refrigerated with cold packs, tablets sealed at room temperature.

Where to Be Careful

Two things. First, the oral dissolving tablet products are the furthest from any approved medicine here. There is an approved oral semaglutide (Rybelsus), but it is a different formulation, and compounded sublingual tirzepatide has no approved counterpart at all — absorption and dosing equivalence are not established. Raeliva's own framing is appropriately hedged, but this is a genuinely more experimental product than the injections. Second, no BMI or clinical eligibility threshold is published, and no lab requirement is stated. Pricing is direct-pay only, with no insurance billing.
